By phone

You can call THT Direct on 0845 1221 200 between 10am and 10pm on Monday to Friday, and from 12 noon to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. If you're calling from a landline then wherever you phone from in the UK you’ll only be charged for a local call. Charges from mobiles will vary depending on the service provider.

What happens when I call?

When you ring you’ll hear a menu system. This will give you options to:

  • listen to recorded information
  • leave a message to be called back in another language
  • hold the line if you’d like to speak an adviser.

THT Direct’s phone number will appear on any itemised bill, so if you’re worried about someone finding out that you’ve called us it might be worth phoning from a call box. We can always call you straight back if you don’t have much money.

How we work

If your enquiry is complicated then one of our advisers might call you back when they have researched how we can help, or we might refer you to someone else in the organisation. We’ll tell you when we are going to call you back and check whether we can say who we are when we call.

As well as providing help over the phone we can also send out information (in a plain envelope) for you to read at home.

Other ways to talk

You can also ask us questions and get support by email, letter, face to face, or by using Sex Facts.
