The Student Toolkit

The Schools OUT Student Tool Kit is for young people in any British secondary educational setting who are – or are perceived to be - lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender/transsexual or queer (LGBTQ). It is also useful for your friends and family members. Most of the Student Tool Kit is relevant for all schools. Some areas are equally applicable to primary schools

London Friend is a voluntary organisation that has been serving the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community for over 35 years.

We exist to promote the social, emotional, physical and sexual health and wellbeing of lesbian, gay and bisexual people including transgender people who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual and all those unsure of their sexuality.

We offer counselling and support services which set out to explore issues of same sex- relationships, sexual identity and promote personal growth and self confidence. We also provide a safe space as an alternative place to meet and socialise.

All our services are delivered by trained lesbian, gay and bisexual volunteers.
